Description

Purpose of the job :

  1. To develop boiler business in Thermal service
  1. Generate enquiries from various customers all over the India & Bangladesh. To understand customer O&M problem.
  1. Show case Alstom capability to various unexplored customers. Identify niche areas in line with overall strategy.
  1. Retain business of existing customers.
  1. Develop & introduce new products to customer. Providing solution to technical problem after internal discussion.
  1. Understanding competitor's strategy to grab future business.

Responsibility :

  • Grow volume of business in boiler product
  • Introduce new products to various customers throughout India
  • Study all existing & new products to offer suitable solution
  • Keep informed higher management of latest developments in Market & competitor strategy.
  • Develop & interact with marketing & technical personnel to maximize business

The job will require conceptualisation of need of various customers, providing suitable solution to them & continuous exchange of feedback with Marketing personnel. Keeping close liaison with technical personnel to offer suitable solutions to customers.

Qualifications

Education Qualifications: BE -Mechanical from reputed University, at least ten years experience in boiler field.

Knowledge: Conversant with large utility boilers will be preferred.

Standards: Conversant with IBR/ ASME / BS and other international codes.

Skills: Familiar with MS Office, Autocad etc

Competencies/Behaviours:Should be a team member, willing to travel throughout India & abroad.
