Role Summary/Purpose
•Job will entail meticulous planning, prioritizing and scheduling of bid preparation and submission for the SAS packages along with protection and control..
•Preparation of techno commercial proposal to various utilities and Industries for the requirement of Substation Automation System based on various protocols along with gateways and data concentrator.
•Hunt for new customers and get the approval and achieve profitable business growth.
Essential Responsibilities
•To discuss and demonstrate the ability of the quoted SAS system with merits and vis-à-vis comparison to the completion.
•Fully conversant with Substation Automation System and Protection related applications such as relevance of data concentrator/gateways/Ethernet switch etc...
•Good understanding of Substation Automation System Architecture topologies such as star/ring/mesh etc..
•Knowledge about various physical communication mediums/facilities to determine the SAS architecture during bidding stage.
•Knowledge with FOX terminals and Coupler of communication mediums,
•Thorough knowledge of the Utility communication protocols like Modbus, DNP, IEC 60870-5-101/104, IEC 61850 and ability to determine the appropriate application software/hardware.
•Knowledge on various bus arrangements in 132/220/400/765 kV Voltage levels in Switchyards.
Qualifications/Requirements
•BE/ B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics/Instrumentation/Computer Science
•Minimum 2-3 years experience in Utility Substation Automation System tendering and sales engagement directly or as a supportive role.
•Demonstrated Learning, Written and Verbal Communication skill.
