Limited) for validating new hydraulic components designs and changes to the existing Product range

This position is with Eaton Corporation's Hydraulics Engineering Test lab based in Ranjangaon, Pune.
- Complete test requests according to specified test orders.
- Perform test setups in completion of specific and standard test processes.
- Implementation of corrective action to test setups as required by established lab procedures or
test orders, or when performance falls below acceptable limits.
- Communicate test programs with engineering when appropriate to clarify purpose of testing
and the results the testing is trying to gain.
- Expected to take ownership of projects, lead small project teams, and continuously improve
their skill set
- Maintain close liaison with other technicians to standardize lab practices within product group
and with other groups in the lab to insure a safe working environment.

- Measure performance of individual efforts in alignment with balanced scorecard metrics
established for the test lab.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the test lab that is a showpiece for customer
visits. Continually work to improve the presentation of the lab for this purpose.
- Train and monitor fellow technicians and drive completion of tests in prescribed time
frameBasic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) B.E / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 3-7 years hands on experience in Product testing and Test lab operations.The incumbent if skilled in analyzing a hydraulic circuit, troubleshooting elementary product and test problems, and performing data analysis will be an added advantage. The data analysis requires the knowledge of data acquisition systems (hardware and software) that are being used by the product group . Additionally, the ability to utilize metrology equipment for inspection and read an engineering drawing is preferred attribute to respond to engineering requests for component and assembly inspection. Knowledge of Auto-cad and capability to read and create fixture drawings is preferred.
The incumbent must have an ability to work toward the completion of test requests in order to meet committed deadlines. The ability to meet committed deadlines has a lasting effect on customer satisfaction in developing new products, or in making minor or major changes to existing products in satisfying specific application requirements.Relocation benefit provided?
