Work Assignments
As a delegated Quality Engineer/Inspector it will be your responsibility to secure blade quality on all levels of the supply chain; from incoming goods inspection to final inspection after painting. In the daily operation you will refer to local hired QHSE manager, and delegated Plant manager.
More specifically, your primary assignments will cover:
· Ensuring quality from Incoming goods inspection to final inspection after painting.
· Training and supervising local hired QC inspectors.
· Knowledge transfer from Global Q organization to local Q organization.
· Ensuring documentation of inspection according to procedures.
· Ensuring NCR system is implemented
· Ensuring documentation system is implemented
· Day to day contacts to the local, technical organization and production management.
· Being a Blades experienced representative ensuring that Siemens processes and standards are communicated to new colleagues.
· Ensuring excellent cooperation and knowledge sharing with Global Quality organization as well as the rest of the Global, technical organization.
· Participation in the implementation of new blades, ramp up projects and transfer projects.
· Ad hoc tasks
Your profile
We expect you are skilled QC inspector or engineer, familiar with all QC inspection processes or are wiling to learn within the next year. As a person, you are structured and you take ownership of your tasks.
You have a fact-based, analytic and systematic approach to your tasks as well as a good sense of perspective and the ability to learn fast. Furthermore, you are a team player who thrives in a dynamic and challenging environment and have a good understanding of intercultural behavior as well as an interest in working across functions and national borders. You are fluent in both spoken and written technical English, and you possess excellent communication skills.
The delegation will have a duration of minimum 2 years with expected start-up May 2012 in India. 3 months prior to the delegation you will be fully allocated in preparing the Technology Transfer process and before this you will participate in the Project Team as QHSE Coordinator.
