Essential Responsibilities
As an intellectual property analyst, you would be actively involved in searching & analyzing technical material from patent & open literature database.
A key component of the work will be to closely partner with technologists, business leaders and attorneys.
You will be working on evolving cutting-edge research areas and therefore requires you to comprehend both technology and business requirements.
Based on this you will be making suitable recommendations to your technology management teams.
You will have to actively drive “ideation to filing” in close concurrence with you analytical findings.
In the filing stage, you will have to work closely with patent engineers to help build strategic IP.
The role will entitle you to be connected to top experts in the field from legal, business and technical functions.
Qualifications/Requirements
Candidate should have a post-graduation/Ph. D in Electrical/Electronic Engineering/Physics/Biomedical Engg or Software.
Clear thinking and closure of work is a key must as the candidate will handle large volumes of information.
Passion for technology, willingness to learn diverse fields and take on challenges is required.
The candidate must be a well-rounded personality who can work with team members with diverse requirements and views.
The candidate must possess clear communication skills.
Desired Characteristics
Prior experience in using various search databases (open literature/patent) would be a valuable plus, but not necessary.
Previous experience in Healthcare Industry is a plus.
