Job Responsibilities

      Determine approaches and solutions to customers’ technical and application problems through being a consultative ‘problem solver and solution provider’ in pre and post sale application areas

      Facilitate the sales organization through providing technical content for sales presentations, application briefs, customer/reseller training, support on competitive information, participating in strategizing competitive bids, deliver technical seminars/ presentations, amongst others

      Facilitate customer success in associated technology solutions, add value and resolve problems in usage of products in their application

      Support with technical details that enables customers make a judicious choice on Tektronix’ products

      Be viewed as an expert in products and applications and penetrate into domain expertise

      Conduct trainings on products and applications

      Develop and maintain quality, long-term customer relationship

      Represent the company to the customer

Job Requirements

  • BSEE degree or equivalent
  • 5 years or more of directly related experience with 8 or more years of total work experience
  • Ability to unde
  • rstand and grasp technology and past demonstration of self-reliance in learning new technologies and staying current on industry and technology trends is desired
  • Work experience across customers in computer segment and horizontal markets (R&D organizations, DRDO labs, validation houses, manufacturing setups, etc.)
  • Domain knowledge of Computer Industry, with specific expertise on serial data technologies (SATA, PCI Express, etc.), high speed memory and digital RF will be a definite advantage
  • Working knowledge on the deployment of test equipment like logic state analyzers, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and signal sources will be a definite plus
  • Candidates with experience in customer-facing role with pre/post-sale technical, applications, service support with T&M, Instrumentation, Components, Semiconductor industries, EDA tools, system integrators can apply
  • Domain knowledge across digital systems, hardware debug / troubleshooting, EDA tools, instrumentation, and telecom solutions
  • Work experience involving a Channel Partner
  • environment or eco-system would be an advantage
  • Possess, strong communication and interpersonal skills, deliver effective customer presentations and is comfortable and experienced speaking and demonstrating solutions in front of a group
  • Ability to work successfully in a dynamic organization (may consist of a network of virtual teams); able to work independently and accomplish the overall goals of the product-market space and the sales organization
  • High level of time management and work prioritization skills are desirable with the ‘right’ approach and attitudes towards customers being a prime driver
