Job Description: Responsible for the storage or movement of inbound, interplant, and outbound material, equipment, and finished goods. Develops and implements control systems to move material in a timely and cost effective manner. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.
Qualifications
1. Preferably with Bachelors degree in logistics discipline or business management.
2. Good knowledge in customs, logistics and transportation management.
3. Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
4. Good interpersonal skills both in oral and written modes.
5. Able to maintain a problem solving attitude when under pressure.
Responsibilities
Job Description: Focal person at Intel Bangalore managing all aspects of freight movements including compliance to local regulatory requirements. The person also needs to work with local stakeholders and provide insight information to any issues related to freight movement. The person is also required to manage materials warehouses with 3rd party contract operator. The person will be required to improve Site logistics and transportation processes to meet the business requirements of Intel Bangalore site stakeholders.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Overall responsibility for ensuring inbound/outbound transportation modes and operations are in full compliance of all applicable Intel policies and government regulations.
2. Closely work with TLC folks on any customs related issues.
3. Oversees the efficient processing of all customs documentation's.
4. Manage the performance of all Intel contracted forwarders and work closely with them to resolve any transportation related issues.
6. Work on improvement and establishing new process or procedure to support the changing business needs
7. Manage overall Material warehouse operations and 3PL logistics support for Intel India R&D center 8. Support new projects at R&D site and maintain key logistics and Customs related CSI�s assigned.
9. Manage all logistics & customs, STPI related audits (Internal & External)
