We are currently looking for a new Application Development Engineer working within our Renewable Energy Division.
Job Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Identification, development, and commercial introduction of film and tape products for the Solar Energy Market.
Work closely with the RED Sales team and customers from the design phase through full commercialization.
Identify customer needs, communicate those needs, and work on cross-functional teams to develop solutions.
Develop Processes for proper use of the films.
We are seeking individual with significant experience in solar module manufacturing, project management, technical service, and field marketing; and with a demonstrated ability to leverage the 3M technical network to accelerate new product/application development programs.
The successful candidate will have experience in solar module manufacturing process most preferably tapes, adhesives, and films. Demonstrated success in working at multiple levels within Solar module manufacturing organizations (design engineers, technical personnel, and plant managers), and success working within a cross-functional team is desired.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Minimum of 3 -4 years of Solar Modules manufacturing experience.
