Role Purpose
Provides comprehensive compensation analysis and support to the Rewards team and advises on programs. Experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company polices and procedures. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors with limited supervision. Interacts with senior and external personnel.
Responsibilities
* Provides analytical and administrative support to the global compensation team in support of the company's compensation programs.
* Educates HR, executives, managers and employees on compensation policies, philosophy and practices.
* Responds to inquiries and coordinates the dissemination of information as needed.
* Manages the integrity of compensation data, assists with system configuration and upgrades and maintains and updates plan documents as necessary.
* Prepares periodic reports for various departments.
* Assists with Sarbanes Oxley compliance and testing.
* Administers vendor accounts and processes invoices.
* Manages survey processes, job evaluation, job matching and benchmarking.
* Assists in global initiatives and projects by preparing presentations, reports and analysis.
* Provides comprehensive advice for the roll out of new or revised plans and initiatives.
* Leads in managing smaller projects or reviews.
* Builds effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high quality process and quick resolution to issues
* Establish an external network in order to improve market intelligence on compensation issues and practices
Qualifications
* Master's degree in Business Administration.
* 6-9 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits Analysis & Reporting.
* The ability to apply the intent of policies, guidelines and regulations in diverse global situations.
* Demonstrated focused ability to build relationships and trust with management, vendors and various diverse groups.
* Ability to learn and apply new concepts effectively in a fast paced, challenging, dynamic and evolving global environment.
* Anticipate and respond to customer needs by improving practices to meet individual situations, escalating higher risks or issues where a precedent may be set.
* Highly motivated with exceptional problem solving and decision making skills.
* Ability to research and handle professionally and discretely extremely confidential information.
* Effective communicator at all levels, and customer service driven with a focus on delivering accurate and timely results.
* Team player that is responsive and eager and independently contributes to projects and initiatives and works with minimal supervision.
* Strong organizational, project management, analytical and written communication skills.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. competent with pivot tables and V-look-ups).
* Specific HR database knowledge (e.g. PeopleSoft).
* Numerical with high attention to detail.
* General knowledge of other human resources functions or disciplines.
Certifications/ Education
* Must have a University degree or related experience
* At this level, reward related professional qualification is expected (either part or full qualification)
Professional Experience
* Previous experience in a reward-focused role (consultancy or in-house) or generalist HR role with a strong analytical basis.
