Policy Management Business Unit (PMBU) is a fast growing Business Unit within Cisco with Cisco Secure ACS, Cisco NAC, Cisco Enterprise Policy Manager and Policy Services Engine offerings to Enterprise customers with $100M+ annual revenues. Within PMBU we are building a next-generation distributed security, corporate policy management and enforcement platform that provides enhanced layer of security with actionable intelligence to Enterprise networks by aggregating and correlating events emanating from various network access devices. Required Experience:
• 10+ years of Java Programming Experience preferably in Linux development environments.
• Development experience on a Security Appliance with deep network security domain expertise.
• Strong experience working and resolving customer’s issues.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, able to present ideas and information clearly.
• Must be proficient and comfortable at problem diagnosis, troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Possess the ability to be a self-driven quick learner with attention to details and quality.
Desired Skills
• Excellent Java backend programming in Linux development environment.
• Good understanding of advanced Java topics such as extreme multithreading, garbage collection internals, memory debugging and portability of Java applications.
• Strong knowledge of Algorithms, Data Structures.
• Experience in Spring and Hibernate frameworks a plus.
• Experience in SQL and/or Oracle database technologies.
• AAA protocol and worked with security technologies such as Firewalls, Intrusion Detection & Prevention Systems, TLS & SSL, PKI.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP a plus.
• Direct experience in vulnerability assessment, event logging and correlation specifically from security and networking devices a plus.
