Sales Engineer - Service
Description
• Take ownership of market development and segmentation for IBMS within the district. Identify, develop & nurture high value target accounts for pursuit.
• Conduct building energy survey, perform basic data analysis and calculations, develop value proposition around savings and/or financing, prepare proposals, negotiate and close sale for energy-retrofit projects.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales opportunity pipeline and achieve planned sales targets for the financial year.
• Work closely with Account managers, Field service leader and Service technicians in the local branch to enable lead generation and increased share of Honeywell business from the existing customers.
• Provide reporting and document sales activity to measure volume, close rates, output timing and margins.
• Provide support to project management team to enable smoother execution of energy retrofit projects.
Qualifications
• BE, B Tech or University Degree in Engineering
• 5 - 12 years of industry related sales experience with one or more of the following systems - BMS and Security systems
Comfortable with Consultative/Conceptual Sales Position.
• Understanding of basic engineering & energy concepts.
• Willingness to undertake building walk through surveys, collection of energy data and energy calculations/analysis.
• Ability to work in a team environment with limited, direct supervision.
• Clear focus on customer satisfaction goals and Honeywell quality values.
• Computer literate including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and online applications.
