Storage Services Advisor-11000PGZ

Administers storage systems. Responsible for defining, tracking, and maintaining data resources in the production IT environment. Ensures the availability, reliability, scalability, and manageability of the data storage environment. Works with key technical and business stakeholders to determine data and storage requirements and creates solutions to meet requirements. Maintains storage area network (SAN) environment and/or network attached storage (NAS) environments

Investigates storage issues and provides resolution on complex issues  Documents storage infrastructure inventory Demonstrates knowledge of Fiber Channel, FCIP, or iSCSI concepts and technologies Writes technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences Develops standard operating processes for storage support

Qualifications

Required Skills:

3+ years of technical support and administration of NetApp, HDS, Compellent and Brocade products  NetApp products including: FAS 200 series – FAS 6000 series, SnapManager, SnapMirror, Data ONTAP, NetApp Operations Manager HDS products including: VSP, AMS2500, Dynamic Provisioning, Tiered Storage Manager, Replication Manager, Universal Replicator, ShadowImage

Compellent products including: Fluid Data Architecture Brocade products including: DCX-4C

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of Fiber Channel, FCIP, or iSCSI concepts and technologies Experience delivering high customer satisfaction in a large, dynamic, and demanding customer environment is essential Have very good communications skills, be self-driven, excel in a team environment, possess a strong sense of urgency and accountability, and have a passion for excellence

Minimum Educational Requirements:

Associates Degree or equivalent
