Job Description :
Finance General Accounting: Day to day maintenance, control and review of all books of accounts – Purchase, Sales & General Ledger for both US GAAP and local statutory requirements . Passing and checking of all accounting entries including interfaces from AP & AR modules Month and Year closing in coordination with Corporate Accounting Team. Preparation and Review of month GL account reconciliation including inter company accounts. Quarterly Sox Certification Fixed Assets: Accounting, capitalization, control, verification and valuation of Fixed Assets, calculation of depreciation in line with corporate and statutory requirements. Accounts Payable: Processing & payment of vendor invoices and employee expenses reports in line with company’s policies and procedures. Final Accounts: Preparation and finalization of profit and loss Account and balance sheet and associated schedules as per US GAAP and local statutory requirements Managing and concluding the statutory audit. Compliance Corporate tax & Transfer Pricing - Experience in compliance relating to Corporate Tax, Fringe Benefit tax, estimating future income and tax liability, Withholding tax application to various aspects of business acitivity, Advising on Tax planning, Advice on tax implication on business models for optimising tax benefits, Handling tax assessments, Respond to queries from and issues raised by tax authorities Indirect Tax - Ongoing compliance for VAT, Central Excise, Service Tax, GST; Advise tax implication of business models, Handle assessments; Experience in optimum utilisation of tax incentives and benefits, Respond to tax queries from authoirities Exchange Control - Compliance with Exchange Control regualtions under FEMA (India), SAFE (China), Malaysia on overseas investment, remittance and fundings Company Law - Facilitator between Corporate Legal and local compliance team on statutory compliance matters and Control, Track every meeting and documents thereof, maintain copy of meetings and statutory documents for countries supported from India; Regulatory compliance - In-depth knowledge and experience on procedures and matters relating to functioning of Export Oriented Units, maintain documents, devise control procedures for issuance and usage duty free goods, liaising with statutory authorities, Fulfill Local and State compliances including registrations and maintain relevant documents, Respond to queries raised Audit - Independently handle and conclude audit in India, Singapore, Malaysia, China and Hong Kong;
Experience/Qualifications :
Accounting Graduate – Additional professional qualifications preferred 5/8+ years in Finance and Compliance covering Direct/indirect taxes, STPI/Customs, FEMA AP, AR, Fixed Assets accounting, General Ledger, month close, finalization of annual accounts and Audit Technical Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of Accounting Standards – India , US GAAP & IFRS, Local Tax and other regulations; Proficiency in MS Excel, Power point and Projects; knowledge and experience in Oracle Financial applications Soft Skills: This position calls for excellent inter personal skills to work and coordinate with finance staff in FICO’s corporate office and other locations; ability to interact with senior leadership in the region. Should have the ability to plan, prioritize and deliver critical requirements under pressure with focus on customer expectations, innovation and high performance; Should have strong analytical and problem solving skills; pro active, self driven and result oriented; should have excellent communication skills and high degree of integrity.
