    Business EMC Location(s) India - Bangalore Title Accounting Clerk/Specialist 1   Job Description GENERAL SUMMARY Under general supervision, performs routine accounting tasks such as reviewing invoices/expense statements and supporting documents, recording expenses in proper accounts and generating checks payable to various accounts.   PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Mail Distribution. Receives invoices, expense reports, or check requests from internal customers. May be required to audit receipts that correspond with expense reports Verify that all necessary information and approvals are present for each invoice, expense report or check request, and contact the appropriate individual to obtain any missing information. Enter invoices/expense reports into appropriate systems. Match checks weekly and distribute for approval. Responsibilities may include totaling of entries at the end of each business day. Performs other duties as required.   SKILLS Organizational skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Communication skills. Customer Service skill. Ability to prioritize projects and deliverables.
