Job Description   Manager Hotel Accounting  Description   ·         Ensuring timely and accurate submissions of the financials including the Balance Sheets, Cash Flows ·         Ensuing timely and accurate submissions of the wires between the hotels ·         Responsible for review of team operations, specialized transactions, and service quality.   ·         Coach and develop team members ·         Direct process to ensure proper controls are in place for the team and direct efforts to ensure team productivity is measured, scored and communicated according to standards. Oversee resolution of discrepancies and advanced systems issues. ·         Maintain appropriate records suitable for research and internal or external audit ·         Actively manage the business continuity and disaster recovery plans for the regional process. Qualifications   ·         Demonstrated experience in resource management (e.g. shift and capacity planning), team performance management, recruitment and training. ·         Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of PeopleSoft or other enterprise financial systems and Microsoft Office. ·         Demonstrated project management experience in organizing, planning and executing small to mid-scale projects. ·         Demonstrated experience in leading, motivating and developing people. ·         Experience in working as part of a global team. ·         Demonstrated proficiency in recognizing and resolving problems or inconsistencies in transactions and systems. ·         Flexibility ·         Problem solving ability, Excellent people management skills, Soft communication skills and conflict management   Qualifications - ·         Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience. ·         Major accounting qualification preferred (CA/CMA/CS/CPA/CIMA)   Experience - ·         5+ years progressive work related experience (post qualification) 0r 7+ years of experience overall in accounting and finance with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/processes related to the position as well as 2-3+ years managing people ·         Experience in the design and delivery of process improvements involving IT Job: Centrally Managed Hotels (CMH) Primary Location: AA_Sth_West-India-DL-Delhi 28/May/11 Schedule: Full Time
